The Information for the May 2008

Rules:   Proof of negative coggins within 12 months.  Protective vests and armbands are recommended, but not required.  If pipe opener is cancelled, a message will be put on this number by 7 am, 301-388-0880.  Fences must be jumped in direction in which it is flagged. You may only jump each fence once. You may have up to 5 refusals at a fence in cross country and 3 refusals at a fence in stadium, then you must proceed to the next fence. Your first ride time must be pre-entered so we can assign a start time. If time allows, you may enter a second course that day.

 Entry Fees:  Cross Country - $25.00 per ride    Stadium - $ 20.00 per ride

                    If entering cross country AND stadium:  $40.00

We are going to run the stadium  and cross country divisions as follows:

• Due to the expected attendance at this years Pipe Opener, we will assign times, and have some open time in each division for those that want to do a course a second time, for an additional fee. 

  Stadium Schooling: These courses will ONLY be available for times listed below

                                      THESE TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE and Subject to Change

  18” course runs from 8:30  to 9:00

   2' course runs from 9:15  to 10:00

   2'7" course runs from 10:15 to 11:00

  2'11" course runs from 11:15 to 12:00

  Cross Country Schooling:   Cross country rides are a little more flexible, and generally start and end 15 minutes later than Stadium times above.
